Gather round and meet …Defining Amy

September 9, 2009

First of all…i’d like to say thanks to A Chick Named Hermia for coming up with this amazing blog! I adore her, and this blog so much and i’m just happy to be a part of it! Hope you enjoy!

Blog: Defining Amydefiningamybanner3

Blogger: Amy!

Location: Utah

What do we like about her?: We were automatically sucked into Amy’s blog by her stunning photos from around the world and her unique desire for everything beautiful!

Hmmm…very interesting, but wait, tell us more! Well besides her being a super sweet, amazing blogger, she teaches and coaches highschoolers (kuddos to her!) and recently left Taiwan where she taught preschool. Her optimistic posts draw you in and keep you waiting intensely for the next! Her blog is a giant mix of her past experiences, beautiful quotes, and tons of lovely stories of her family. She’s a great comment-backer {yes, that is a word here on Diamonds 😉 } and better yet, she posts very frequently, what else could you ask for??

The Lightning Round:

….the place where we ask THE hard-hitting, important life questions that you all need and want to know:

What made you start your blog? I was in the transition stage between graduating from college and embarking on the real world. My sisters and I were sitting on the beach in California, contemplating how I’d ever figure out what to do or where to go next. We all decided a blog was the way to go. Soon after, I accepted a teaching job in Taiwan and kept blogging to keep in touch with family and friends.

If you could have ONE super power, what would it be!? To be anywhere in the world, any time I snap my fingers.

The song that never fails to make me crazy-dance is… It’s a tie between “No te veo” by Casa de Leones and “Temperature” by Sean Paul.

Money can’t buy me love, but it COULD buy me… Enough money to start up my own non-profit organization, improving educations of children throughout the world!

Don’t forget to check out Amy’s guest post below! It’s her take on…

“Just think of happy things, and your heart will fly on wings…”
